Homecoming (Official Music Video)

When I released the music video for Homecoming in April this year, I didn’t get a chance to share the process of how it came to be; I feel SO incredibly grateful to have gotten to work with such a wonderful team of humans and wanted to explain a bit more of what was going on behind the scenes :)

This music video was funded by the Government of British Columbia through Creative BC’s Music Video Program; Hannah Yang (our lovely director) and I applied for the grant with this treatment (sharing for anybody curious about how we applied and the story we intended to tell).

One of our main intentions behind this project was to have this video be led by women and BIPOC creatives. Hannah and I went on CBC Radio to chat a bit more about this; the interview is accessible here.
