My Last London Headline⋆ (for now)

I can’t believe it’s been a whole month since I got back to Canada?! Time is FLYING. I hope you’re doing well :)
Realized I never gave you the full low-down of what happened at my London headline show last month, so let’s get into it!
THE NIGHT’S THEME!!!
I love adding easter eggs to everything I make for you guys, so if we’re breaking it down from this post: bunnies (Bright Eyed Bushy Tailed), the light on the face (looks like a SUN to me… more on this later), and are those… crows?? (guess you’ll have to wait and see how this one ties in!)
We started the night off with my first ever VIP hang; I was joined by these lovely humans, and we got to sit down and chat about all the music that’s coming this year—secrets, excitement, fears, and everything in between!!
I had such a great time hearing about what’s going on in their lives, and learning more about what drew them to my music in the first place. Feeling so blessed and grateful for these moments!!
On to the show!!! So here’s the big secret I got to share with everyone that night…
I am releasing my DEBUT ALBUM this year!!!! It’s called Slice of the Sun, and I’ve already released a few songs from it; Bullet Train, TRACKSTAR, and Bright Eyed Bushy Tailed are all on the tracklist.
I am dreaming up a big visual world for this album, and with the help of my friends I THINK we are gonna pull it off :)
If you haven’t watched it yet, the Bullet Train Visualizer is a part of this world.
ie) THIS is the vision for the TRACKSTAR visual!! annnnd that’s why I broke out the veil on stage. dw I’m shooting it AFTER my real wedding so we’re not manifesting any runaways for the big day lmao
Andddd aother one of my favorite moments was coming down from the stage and singing a stripped version of an upcoming release called Tell Me… Please. Def wanna keep doing this for future shows so this won’t be the last time!!
Lastly, I wanted to shout out my amazing band for the night because it was such a special set up getting to play with my ~future husband~ Kevin Logan (electric guitar), and true besties Grace Moore (acoustic guitar + BGVs), Seegz (bass) and Kye Phillips (drums)!! Dream team.
Here’s a lil preview of one of the new songs that will be on the album, that we played live! It’s called Wake of the Moment and it’s one of my favs :) It’s about mourning a moment bc sometimes it’s hard to enjoy the good things knowing they’ll end!
